Korean Grass

This is how the lawn appeared before we planted "korean" grass...

Since this kind of grass is quite new to our place and quite expensive at that
I decided to just get the grass from the previously planted ones in our garden. We meticulously uprooted the grass and  subdivided the growths so we could cover the whole area.

And this is how it looked after a few days...

my mom said  it looked like a ricefield

Good thing..it was raining almost everyday last June when we started...

... i noticed that the grasses were getting greener each day...and i was quite impressed : )

...so we did some retouch and planted new grass in between so it would look fuller

and this is how it looks today.

....another reason why I got inspired in planting.

Korean grass scientific name is Zoysia matrella...also known as Manila grass, Temple grass & Japanese carpet.  This kind of grass is getting popular among landscapers as it forms a velvety green mats and easier to maintain.
